Editorial Policy

Know what a recommendation is based on.

Official-source overviews

These describe a product using official product pages, pricing information, and documentation. They include source links and the date those sources were checked. They are not independent tests of a vendor’s accuracy, reliability, or performance claims.

Hands-on reviews

A hands-on label requires actual product use, a stated task, the tested platform or version where relevant, and an explanation of limits. We do not convert a vendor’s claim into a measured result or describe unperformed work as our experience.

Selection guides and comparisons

Our analysis starts with a job and explicit decision criteria. A feature comparison must identify its sources; a performance comparison needs an actual test. A recommendation should explain who it may suit and when an existing or simpler workflow may be sufficient.

Growth research

Growth stories use public sources and distinguish reported company information from our interpretation. A company’s results are not a promise of what a reader will achieve.

Commercial relationships

Affiliate links need a nearby disclosure. Sponsorship or supplied review access must be identified when relevant. Our own products are distinguished from third-party coverage.

Updates and corrections

Dates describe a substantive revision or source check, not an automatic freshness reset. Reports of errors should include the page URL and supporting evidence. We review the relevant source before changing a factual claim.
